EV charging carports for fleets, workplaces and multifamily
Shade charging stalls, protect chargers and cables from the weather, and plan power routing into the structure from the start.
The problem with uncovered parking
What we hear most from fleet operators, property owners and ev charging developers.
Battery heat
Batteries and cabins heat up in direct sun. Shaded stalls help keep vehicles cooler while they sit and charge.
Exposed equipment
Chargers, screens and cables last longer and stay cleaner under cover.
Retrofit costs
Adding cover after chargers go in often means relocating equipment. Planning both together avoids rework.
What we build
- Conduit and charger positions planned into the column layout
- Solar-ready roof planning — discuss panel loads and layout with us at the design stage
- Covered charging for fleet depots, workplaces and residential communities
- Integrated lighting for safe night-time charging
- Aluminum structure that stays corrosion-free next to electrical equipment
Plan the carport and the chargers together
The best time to add a carport to an EV charging project is before the trenching starts. When we know where chargers, switchgear and conduit will go, we can place columns so cables run cleanly and drivers have room to maneuver.
Fleet depots converting to electric vans, workplaces adding employee charging and apartment communities adding resident charging all benefit from covered stalls. Bring us in with your electrical contractor and we will coordinate the structure around the power plan.
How it works
Scan, design, fabricate, install — one Stattus team the whole way.
Site scan
We digitally scan your lot so the layout is built around real drive aisles, curbs, light poles and utilities.
Design & 3D rendering
You see the structure on your property before anything is fabricated, with bay counts, clearances and column positions.
Fabrication
Hundreds of aluminum components are cut, protected and painted in our Florida facility for a long-lasting finish.
Installation
Our crews install in phases so your fleet keeps moving and the lot stays open during the build.
EV Charging Carports FAQ
Can you install solar panels on the carport?
Solar loads and layout should be planned at design. Tell us early if you want a solar-ready roof and we will coordinate with your solar or electrical contractor.
Can you work with our charger provider?
Yes. We coordinate column and conduit positions with your electrical contractor and charger vendor.
Can existing chargers be covered?
Often, yes. We scan the site and design around equipment that is already installed.

Tell us about the lot and the vehicles. We will come back with layout options, a 3D rendering of your site, and a budget number you can take to ownership or a capital committee.
